Water: Recovery of vapor and reuse of cooling water

The new Bovolone plant permits heat recovery from the emissions of the steam generator, which can then be used to heat the water.

This process can bring the water temperature to 80°C, necessary for the production process, with consequent significant savings of thermal energy.

The closed circuit system at Citres also reuses the water at the end of processing to cool the pasteurizer.

With the adoption of systems of heat exchange for the energy content of the water, Citres generates water savings of 80%
