These Artichokes are processed from fresh and trimmed by hand.
Thanks to their versatility in the kitchen, this vegetable lends itself to many recipes. Starting with the artichokes in oil or vinegar as an appetizer, artichokes are also used to prepare lasagna or pasta but also in soups and broths.
Citres Artichokes are different because they have a low content of vinegar so they perfectly fit on Focaccia, Pizza, and in other salty bakery products without leaving an acid taste on the food.
Our artichokes are 100% Italian and freshly processed in April and May. This type of processing maintains a high organoleptic nutrient, leaving the vegetables crunchy and tasty without “stressing” the product that is soon after put into pots in a natural and simple way.
The characteristic chestnut-brown color and rustic aspect are the consequence of being processing raw.
